Who is Dan LeClerc?

Dan “Dan-boni “ LeClerc worked for the British Columbia Forest Service for 7 years and loved to organize and play in hockey and baseball tournaments. He was tragically taken from the Forest Service family at the age of 39 on May 11, 2002 in a motor vehicle accident. In honour of Dan, this co-ed hockey tournament was started in 2004 in Port McNeil and open to British Columbia Forest Service past and present employees, spouses, sons, daughters and relatives. We are proud to honour his memory by carrying on the tradition of bringing friends and colleagues together in the pursuit of playing hockey as an excuse to hang out and collectively find ways to shame the winners for being too good.
